Mat Velvet + (Sephora, $34)
-The name may be scary and most would associate matte makeup with a cakey face! But have no fear this makeup gives you a flawless finish that looks silky smooth without any cake face remarks! The formula is light and spreads very easily. If you are going to use this and have dry skin make sure you exfoliate and moisturize before you apply because it will cling to dry spots. I would say this foundation gives meduim to full coverage. You only need a little when applying and I use my fingers to apply, clean of course! It definately keeps your shine under control and is raved about my youtube beauty guru Makeupbytiffanyd. If you like a foundation with great coverage, flawless finish and gives you a beautifully matte face be sure to try this!

HD High Definition Foundation (Sephora, $40)
-Okay first off I realize this foundation is a bit on the pricey side but seriously its soooo worth it! I was looking for a foundation for my engagement pictures and figured I would try this since its been raved about and its made specifically for photography reasons! I'm so glad I splurged on this foundation! The coverage is flawless and the formula is so light that you don't feel like your wearing anything! And it really does look amazing in pictures! I feel like it is more of a medium coverage but it is buildable. Also it definately gives your skin a luminous look or in other words a shiny look. Thats probably the only downside of this product especially for me because I have oily skin. Although I found that when I wear this over my Clean & Clear Mattifying moisturizer it really helps with the shine and I find myself not having to blot all day! So if you do have oily skin and want to try this I would either use Clean & Clear's Mattifying moisturizer or another mattifying moisturizer. Also for this price I know this product will last me awhile because when I use it I only end up using one pump to cover my entire face nicely. I pump the foundation onto the top of my hand and use a stippling brush (skunk brush) to stipple it on my face and then blend blend blend.....the outcome is a flawless face!

Duo Mat Powder Foundation (Sephora, $32)
-To top off my liquid foundation I use this powder foundation for a little extra coverage! This compact is a perfectly slim and portable compact to carry with you for cover up throughout the day and to give you that little extra coverage that you want! Again even though this is a matte powder it is very light and doesn't cake up at all! The compact comes with a little compartment for a sponge that you can use to apply it which I think is great for touch ups but I perfer to use a kabuki brush and just lightly dusting it over my liquid foundation. Even though I use this mostly on top of my liquid foundation I also use it when I'm in a hurry or when I don't want a lot of makeup on. Even on its own it gives great coverage and wears nicely. If I am wearing it alone I use the sponge and then just buff it out with the kabuki brush.

If you can only purchase one I would suggest the Duo Mat because its portable and versatile!
All three products are great and definately worth the splurge. They all look beautiful on your skin and last forever...even the powder foundation! As always get a sample first to make sure you like it! The powder foundation you will have to purchase to try it out for a period of time but Sephora's return policy is great!
If you have tried these products let me know what you think, how you wear them, what you use to apply the, etc! And if you have any questions about the products fire away!
Thanks for the revuew! im follwing!
